Tissage Mahieu is a fifth generation family owned Belgian manufacturer of superior textile wallcoverings based in the hart of the Flemish textile region. Since 1889 Tissage Mahieu has produced high quality interior textiles and focused on weaving with natural fibers as linen thus gaining the reputation of one of the best and last traditional European weavers. Tissage Mahieu tries always to be ahead of any competion in quality or design. Linked to several Parisian fashion houses, Tissage Mahieu is inspired by new textile trends and produces haute couture for your walls that lasts for years to come. We hope to inspire you to create many new interiors with our extensive range of collections and variations of weaving techniques and finishes. Weaving

Tissage Mahieu Wallcovering is woven on wide shuttleless looms ensuring a perfect horizontality of the filling yarns. The fabric is closely woven using tightly twisted yarns leading to heavier weight, greater density and superior durability.

Finishing

Tissage Mahieu Wallcovering is finished prior to lamination, thus improving lightfastness, definitely capturing and preserving the fiber’s natural color and beauty for years to come. All polyester fabrics are printed, crushed and Scotchgard treated.

Laminating

Tissage Mahieu is relying on specially engineered equipment for perfect horizontality and precise trimming. All products are developed for high-end residential and contract use, fully complying with the most stringent requirements regarding fire retardancy, durability, lightfastness, cleanability etc.
